  We finally were able to have dinner last night at Desi Tadka, and I was very excited. Hadn't had Indian in a long time, and it is one of my favorite cuisines. D.T. did not disappoint. Friendly staff and clean, pleasant decor. The fact that all the other customers were Indian (we and one other guy were the only anglo customers) was a good sign. We started with Paneer Pakoras for appetizer (very tasty), and then ordered the Chicken Vindaloo and Chicken Kashmiri for our entrees, which were both delicious. Of course, Kingfisher and Taj Mahal to wash it down. :) I give four stars, but only because I never give five (I have to have an out of body experience for the coveted 'fifth star'). :) Definitely plan to go back again soon. Oh yeah, grab a carry-out menu!

  My husband and I moved from South Tampa to Westchase and were in search of something to replace our beloved Curry Leaves. We found Desi Tadka and are very pleased! We have eaten here three times and the food is always excellent. The lunch buffet has a lot of variety and the food is rotated regularly. Staff is always very polite and ready with the water (totally necessary for me - I have no tolerance for spicy food). Highly recommend!
